TYPE OF WINE
Fine, sweet liqueur wine made with young wines from sun dried grapes.
WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes selected from the vine sun dried on “esparto” dry grass for approximately 10 days then special horizontal presses are used to extract the juices. The must which is very dense is put on a light fermentation process which is halted to add up to 15% alcohol. Oxidative maturing in French Vosges oak barrels with a medium toast.
Dark mahogany colour with amber highlights. On the nose: intense with aromas of dried fruit (dates) with a wood and toast background. On the palate: sweet and elegant followed by a velvety, oily taste with a long lasting finish.
